Show & Tell Day

What’s Included?

A regular day of camp includes two English riding lessons. Campers will be rotating between activities with their riding group throughout the day, such as learning how to care for a horse, types of equipment, relax and cool-down time with crafts and games, and much more!

At the end of every session, friends and family are invited to come and watch one of their camper’s lessons so the camper can show-off what they’ve learned! Each camper goes home with a progress report and endless memories.

Youth Leadership Certification Program

Our Youth Leadership Certification Program gives youth, aged 13 (turning 14 within the camp year) - 16, an opportunity to learn how to be a mentor to our summer campers. Participants will have a skills checklist that must be signed off by their supervisor:
-Communication skills: learn how to effectively communicate instruction to campers in a lesson setting
-Leadership skills: handling horses
-Creativity: create an arts and crafts activity and execute it with the help of supervisor
-Caring for others: Survey campers’ needs by learning how to care for younger campers: sunscreen, water, break times
-Self Confidence: Independently teach a stable management lesson

Throughout the program, youth will gain an understanding of what it takes to be a leader and self-confidence.
Once the program is complete, and all skills have been accomplished, participants will receive a certificate of leadership.
