Katie is an Equestrian Canada Licensed Coach who operates Buxton Equestrian in Colborne, ON, specializing in training and sales of young horses for english disciplines.

Katie is an active competitor in Eventing and Dressage at recognized competitions throughout Ontario, and is well known for producing well rounded horses, particularly OTTBs.

With an emphasis on proper dressage and equine mental health, Katie has proven her methods work well in bringing out the best in each horse.

Katie has been training and coaching actively for 15 years and brings a wealth of knowledge to her students and their horses.

Riders can participate in this clinic in either Dressage or Over Fences.

This clinic is offered in either a 45min private session or a 1 hour group (max 4 riders per group).
$75.00 for riders shipping in their own horses
$95.00 for riders using one of Well Dressed’s lesson horses.

Ponies & Tots

Ages 4-8 years old. Come out to the farm to learn all about horses! Learn how to groom, and how to hand-walk! This is a program all about making a first experience positive between child and horse. Make friends, learn something new, and have a fun day with ponies!

$50.00 + HST

Please note - this class duration is 2 hours when 3 or more participants attend, and 1 hour when 2 or less participants attend. Maximum of 6 participants per class.

Herd It’s Lit is a workshop for teens: Grade 7-10, all genders welcome. Teens will learn skills to manage the day to day of life’s challenges through interesting and engaging exercises side by side with the horses. This fun group will provide a space to learn about horses and what makes them unique.

No riding experience necessary and all activities take place on the ground.

10am-1pm

Danielle Berry, owner of Blackberry Equestrian, has over 15 years of experience in the equestrian industry from dressage, show jumping and breaking young stock. Specializing in training for both competitive and recreational riders. Danielle has developed a reputation for creating strong, trusting partnerships between horse and rider. Throughout her career, Danielle has run a successful business where she provides comprehensive training programs, from breaking young horses to fine-tuning advanced skills. Ensuring each horse and rider team receives the individualized attention they need to succeed.

This clinic will be run in a group format with a maximum of 4 riders per grouping.

$50.00 per rider that’s shipping their own horse in to participate.
$70.00 per rider that’s borrowing a lesson horse from Well Dressed to participate.

Brandon started riding at local barns in the Durham region, competing on the Trillium circuit and going on to win the 1.10m division at Trillium Championships. He then moved to the A Circuit, where he helped develop young horses for owners in the hunter divisions.

In 2016, he turned professional and started his own training and sales business, Hall & Co. Equestrian, where he focuses on developing, and selling young horses and ponies. As a freelance rider, he has ridden for some of the top trainers and stable owners in the Durham region. Brandon is also a nationally certified and licensed competition coach, supporting riders from entry-level to competing in the US.

Outside of the arena, Brandon is the Director of Marketing and Communications at Ontario Equestrian and is a certified, provincial hunter/jumper course designer.
